It never ceases to amaze me that the pictures God puts in my head are always the most popular. True, some of them are posted at the =christians club, but even before that, they are always more popular than most of my other stuff. I'm not complaining about it, and I'm not trying to be vain about my art! I just find it very interesting.

The piece "Worship" I did a few weeks ago has like 30 faves or something crazy like that (and its not even posted in the club yet!) At first, when the faves started pouring in, I thought maybe it was because it was watercolor, and maybe people just prefer traditional art and search for it more often. But after I posted several other traditional pieces, I realized that that wasn't the reason - because none of them had the same response at all!

I've searched my name ("by:meowsap") before when I'm bored, and the first few pictures (last time I checked) are all pieces that God showed me. (Yes, they are posted at the club, but even before that they were received better than my "normal" works)
I thought my picture "Nova" was going to get a huge response and I was really proud of it, and yet it didn't. Yet, Worship, this simple picture that God put in my head, and only took me a short time to color and draw, has received so much attention that I'm astounded! (Same with Jesus There In Between - it took even LESS time, and its now my most popular!!)

So here's my conclusion - when God puts a picture in your head, He has a reason for it - there is someone out there that will benefit from the message. Not only that, but it allows me to glorify God - because after all - its not my idea in the first place. If my ideas were the popular ones, I could be like "Yep, I'm awesome." and forget that God was the one to give me the talent in the first place. God will use what we make for Him for some greater purpose, and when we humbly submit to Him, He will raise us up.

I'm happy that God's ideas are the more popular ones anyways. Cause they are indeed really cool. :3
